To all our community and friends Mountain View will be having our Easter Community Cook Out on Saturday April 13th at 4 pm Everyone welcome. Come join us for food fun and fellowship.

Its been a little while since the last update on the new Church! We are finishing up the metal framing part and starting into the wood. At this point we will start start multiple jobs such as electrical,insulation and finishing up the connection to the existing building. Continue to pray for us as we move forward with Gods plan for Mountain View! For those who don't know and wonder why the progress is slow, the members and folks in the community are doing the work not contractors!! GOD is Good and continues to show his plan for our church!!

It's been a while since our last update on the new church sanctuary. We are slowly making progress as you can see in the pictures! It's beginning to look like a Church building. We want to thank everyone for their prayers and those who have came out to help! Continue to pray for the vision God has given Mountain View Baptist Church and the church family as we try to make it happen. By the way please come by and see it in person we would love to have you!

Fun at Kyker Korn Maze

What a great day at Mountain View Baptist Church yesterday. With it being friends day we had a house full! Chief Michael Hodges spoke to one of the adult classes about what a officer has to do and some of the things they face and see each day. Sometimes we forget the decision they make has to be made in a matter of seconds! We all need to pray for those that watch over us and their families! Then Dr Phil Waldrep spoke to us about not losing the awe of Jesus! What a great day. If your looking for a home church we would love to have you!

Would like to THANK all the folks that showed up to help today. We had a very busy day and got a lot done! The new sanctuary is starting to take shape!! Some of the ladies even got in on the fun! Please continue to pray for us at Mt. View as we follow God's plan for our new sanctuary!

A few more pictures of our progress on the new sanctuary. Should be ready to set the trusses next week and then it will really start taking shape. Again we would like to thank everyone who has helped out and all the prayers prayed! Continue to pray for us as we follow Gods guidance and pray for all that help that God will keep us safe!

We are making progress! Walls are going up!! Continue to pray for us as we follow Gods direction and pray for all the folks that are helping out. If you don't have a home church we would love to have you come grow with us!

I'd like to catch everyone on our building project. The Lord has truly Blessed our church and has given us a Vision to grow! If you would like to be a part Gods work at Mountain View come by and visit. God is Great and continues to Grow his church! You can see by the pictures that there has been trials but the Lord has provided and moved forward!

Unfortunately due to the construction on the new worship center we have decided not to have Vacation Bible School this year. We looked at several options but felt this best for the safety of the children. Plus the construction will affect our fellowship hall were we were serve our meals to the children. Please pray for us as move forward following God where he leads!.

Join us This Sunday Morning for Easter Sunrise Service at 7am. It will on top of the hill in the graveyard unless bad weather. If bad weather will have it inside the church. Breakfast to follow service. April 1st 2018 at 7am.
